About the event
See you at John Chavis Memorial Park! We will meet in the Old Carousel House on the back end of the lot. There is a 2nd parking lot after entering the park that is more convenient than the first parking lot.
Event Location: The Old Carousel House at John Chavis Memorial Park 505 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27601
Order of the Day:
* Arrivals will start at 4pm
* We will eat first...Southern style meal (Turkey BBQ, BBQ chicken, Fried Chicken, Yams, Greenbeans, Cole Slaw, Hushpuppies and cake will be served)
* We will take a group picture at 5pm.
* Individual family pictures will be taken throughout
* This park has a splash pad and a playground for kids to play
* There is a beautiful historic carousel on site for a nominal fee
